Dr. Anisah Prueitt Shahidzadeh, O.D.

Dr. Anisah Prueitt Shahidzadeh is a native Texan with over 20 years of experience in medical therapeutic optometry. Known affectionately by patients and staff as “Dr. S,” she earned her Bachelor of Science with Honors at the University of Puerto Rico before receiving her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston in 2004.

Dr. Shahidzadeh has a strong passion for dry eye therapy and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction treatment, tailoring OptiLight IPL therapies to manage chronic Dry Eye and rosacea-related conditions. She also focuses on aesthetic-driven ocular surface wellness using the FDA-approved Lumenis OptiLight IPL system.

She is a certified MiSight provider and enjoys helping children and families slow the progression of myopia using the latest contact lens technologies. Dr. Shahidzadeh is fluent in English and Spanish.

Outside the office, Dr. Shahidzadeh enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Rassa Shahidzadeh, and their two children.
